Take your first step towards DDI maturity

BlueCat’s DDI Maturity Report, commissioned by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), surveyed 227 leading IT professionals from a global selection of medium to large enterprises.

The report delves into the state of today’s DDI and the maturity of current enterprise solutions.

Here’s some of the key findings

Only 64.8% of enterprises use a fully integrated full-stack DDI management platform from a single vendor for their DDI technology.

61.2% of IT professionals invest in DDI technology as a response to their public cloud migration or transformation initiatives.

63.5% of research participants were motivated to invest in commercial DDI products due to security requirements

What are the 3 Stages of DDI Maturity?

The EMA and BlueCat Report outlines three stages of DDI maturity for network evaluation.

1.

DIY Approach: Using spreadsheets and open-source software, which is error-prone, slow, and insecure.

2.

IPAM Overlay: Using commercial IPAM tool with third-party DNS solutions, providing better security and scalability but still with challenges.

3.

Full-Stack DDI management platform: The most mature approach with advanced automation, best scalability, control, security, and cost consolidation.
