How Cloud DNS Service works

Cloud DNS Service operates as an extension of BlueCat’s Integrity platform, leveraging Address Manager (IPAM) to provision and manage authoritative public DNS zones through a centralized control plane. Network teams can programmatically or manually configure zone records, delegate subdomains, and apply changes across distributed edge locations via BlueCat’s global Anycast network.

This tight integration with core DDI services enables consistent external DNS resolution while enforcing governance, ensuring synchronization between internal and external namespace, and streamlining change propagation across environments.
