On June 25, BlueCat will be in Las Vegas as a proud partner in Cisco Live 2017. Technology professionals from around the world will come together on this five-day event to immerse and educate themselves in the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the world of digital business. With over 1,000 sessions, Cisco Live aims to train, educate, and connect attendees in a wide variety of topics through specialty programs, seminars, and breakout sessions. Here are five topics to look out for this year:

1. Security

Security is always a hot topic at these events, and no matter how effective you think your strategy is, cyber defense systems are always evolving. With a wealth of experts, sessions and experiences, attendees should have all they need to keep their business more secure and make their teams more productive.

2. The Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things is exactly what you think it is: it’s anything that can connect to the Internet. While IoT is a seemingly straightforward concept, new additions to the world of connected devices make it a constantly evolving topic. Cisco Live has a ton of sessions planned that revolve around IoT, including how to deliver business value, connect things securely and dynamically analyze data.

3. All Things Cloud

This is easily one of the biggest topics at Cisco Live. Cisco has stated we’re all living in a “hybrid IT” world, where multiple cloud solutions are playing key roles in enterprise digital transformation strategies. Between upping your efficiency and keeping your Cloud data safe, it’ll definitely be something worth looking into.

4. Enterprise Networks

As organizations look to implement digital transformation strategies and the elements that form an enterprise continue to grow and develop, network architecture is fundamental to success. With thought leaders and tracks dedicated to different markets and initiatives, attendees will get lots of information to help them plan the right network foundation for growth, lower risk and cost savings.

5. Collaboration

One of the most essential elements in operating a successful business is exploring new and more productive ways to collaborate with others, and there are lots of tracks and experiences covering new and innovative ways for organizations to work together.

Calling All Superheroes!

This years’ theme for Cisco Live is “Calling All Superheroes!”. Like all superheroes, there are missions they have to accomplish, and BlueCat’s mission at Cisco Live is to push forward our vision of Adaptive DNS. Our own Noel Reynolds will be presenting in one of the Cisco Live sessions to share the role of Adaptive DNS as a foundational aspect of digital transformation. To accomplish this mission, we’ll be unleashing our own three superheroes who leverage the power of Adaptive DNS to fight the evils of malware and outdated network infrastructures.

We’ll be well-represented at Cisco Live as an exhibitor on the show floor, where we’ll be sharing more of our vision with attendees and customers. If you’re not at the show, that’s okay, because not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas – you can follow us on Twitter (@bluecatnetworks) and LinkedIn to see what we’re up to.

If you are at the show, we welcome you to stop by Booth #2829 to speak with one of our solution experts and hear how BlueCat can help you – because not all heroes wear capes!
