What is Cisco Live Melbourne 2026 about?

Cisco Live Melbourne is Cisco’s flagship Asia-Pacific event for customers and partners, built around technical education, keynotes, and community rather than a single product announcement. The event promises to help attendees connect, protect, and thrive in an AI-driven world, and 2026’s series-wide themes carry that through: AI-native networking and agentic AI operations, unified infrastructure management, cybersecurity and zero trust, campus and data center modernization, and observability.

BlueCat is a Silver Sponsor of this edition, with a booth on the show floor for attendees who want to talk DDI directly.

For network and DDI teams, an event built around this many themes at once is less about any single session and more about pattern recognition. It’s a chance to see where Cisco and its ecosystem are pushing infrastructure management, security, and automation, and to weigh that against what your own environment actually needs next.

Inside the event

Cisco Live carries more than 36 years of history as a tradition of education, inspiration, and community, and Melbourne’s past editions have drawn serious scale: the 2019 event set an attendance record of nearly 8,400 people, including more than 500 C-level executives and 2,000 customers and partners.

The week itself follows a defined shape. Technical education breakouts run Monday through Thursday, with technical seminars offered Monday only. A certification testing centre and instructor-led labs run alongside that schedule, and the agenda adds an executive symposium, keynote deep dive sessions, and Centre Stage sessions for broader audiences.

World of Solutions is the week’s hub for hands-on and informal engagement, spanning Capture the Flag, the Cisco Stand, Learn with Cisco, a NetVet Lounge, the NOC, a Social Hub, TAC, and walk-in labs. The Solutions Village adds Meet the Expert sessions, meeting suites, and whisper suites for more direct conversations. Attendees who have been to three or more Cisco Live events across any region between 2021 and 2025 are also recognized for eligibility toward certain 2026 registration packages.

How BlueCat fits Cisco Live Melbourne 2026

Cisco Live Melbourne’s agenda pushes attendees toward AI-native networking, unified infrastructure management, and campus and data center modernization, all while zero trust and observability sit underneath as prerequisites rather than side topics. Teams walking that floor are trying to work out how automation and agentic operations hold up against what’s actually running on their network.

A ground truth for automation

Unified DDI

Unified infrastructure management only works if the systems doing the unifying can trust their source data. Integrity gives large, complex environments a single authoritative platform for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, so automated and agentic tools are always working from accurate, current records rather than stale spreadsheets or drifted configs. For mid-sized enterprises and branch networks that already have DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services in place, Micetro unifies and orchestrates that existing infrastructure without ripping it out, a practical fit for organizations modernizing campus and data center environments in stages. On top of either platform, Edge adds a protective DNS layer that blocks malicious queries before they resolve, addressing the zero trust and security posture Cisco Live’s cybersecurity track keeps circling back to. Teams already committed to a SaaS operating model can look at Horizon, which brings DNS, DHCP, IPAM, security, and observability into one control plane, standalone from the rest of the portfolio.

Seeing the network you automate

Network observability

Agentic operations and unified infrastructure management raise the bar for visibility, because automation acting on bad data just moves problems faster. LiveNX brings network performance monitoring, packet capture, and predictive health tools to that problem, giving NetOps teams the telemetry base that AI-driven operations depend on. LiveAssist, available inside LiveNX, adds AI-powered insights, intelligent alerting, and automated root cause analysis, cutting the time between an anomaly appearing and someone understanding why. For deeper forensics, LiveWire captures and analyzes packet data in real time at scale, supporting both NetOps and SecOps investigations tied to the event’s security and zero trust themes. Omnipeek rounds out the diagnostic side with protocol-level packet analysis for troubleshooting complex application and network issues, while LiveAssurance proactively scans infrastructure for risk and surfaces remediation before problems escalate, and LiveSP extends that same observability and reporting model across every network a managed service provider runs.

Who should attend?

Cisco Live Melbourne 2026 is for Cisco customers and partners looking for hands-on technical education, product insight, and direct access to the community building the network.

Solving these challenges with BlueCat

As your network shifts toward agentic operations and unified infrastructure management, the risk is that automation moves faster than your visibility into what’s actually connected. BlueCat’s DDI platforms, Integrity and Micetro, give you the authoritative source of DNS, DHCP, and IP address data that keeps automated systems working from ground truth, with Edge and Threat Protection layered on top for added visibility and control. Get that foundation right, and the rest of your Cisco stack has something accurate to build on.
