BlueCat Networks Announces Organizational Changes to its EMEA and APAC Business Unit

BlueCat Networks Invests in Channel Sales Leadership to Drive Growth in Europe and Asia Pacific

Toronto, Canada and Amsterdam, The Netherlands – January 19, 2012 – BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence™ company, today announced important organizational changes focused on building the company’s channel sales capabilities in European and Asia Pacific markets.

As of January 1, 2012, Paul Couturier assumed responsibility for the company’s business operations in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Based in Amsterdam, Couturier previously managed BlueCat Networks European business unit. In his expanded role as Vice President, EMEA and APAC, Couturier will help BlueCat Networks, a 100% channel-focused company, continue to grow and develop its footprint in the important EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

Prior to BlueCat Networks, Couturier was Vice President and General Manager, EMEA and APAC for TippingPoint, a leading global provider of network security solutions acquired by Hewlett-Packard in 2010. In his over seven years with TippingPoint, he managed the organization’s Asia Pacific operations and built a highly successful sales team and partner eco-system. Before TippingPoint, Couturier led Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific for Efficient Networks and served as president, broadband division for Siemens.

BlueCat Networks also announced the appointment of Daniel Lee to the role of Regional Sales Director, APAC. Lee is a high performance international executive with over 19 years of leadership and success in the IT Industry. Prior to joining BlueCat Networks, Lee was regional director of Hewlett-Packard’s TippingPoint business. In this role, he was recognized by Frost & Sullivan with the 2011 Asia Pacific Growth Leadership Award. Lee has also held senior management roles with Check Point Software Technologies and Nokia.
