MELBOURNE – October 23, 2013 – BlueCat, the leading provider of intelligent IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions, has expanded its operations in the Trans Tasman market, opening its first office in Melbourne, Australia. The office will be tasked with meeting the vast demand for DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM) expertise and solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

“Local businesses, telcos and government organisations now have a viable alternative DDI solution provider, with locally trained partners and integrators who will deliver reliable, secure and cost effective results,” says George Tsoukas, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, BlueCat. “BlueCat’s portfolio goes well beyond standard DDI, offering solutions around automation and mobile device management, alongside out of the box integration through our open APIs with market leaders such as Microsoft, VMware, HP ArcSight, Citrix, IBM Qradar, Cisco, Splunk and more.”

By linking devices, users and network activity BlueCat’s IPAM platform provides a rich source of network intelligence. This strategic insight and actionable intelligence allows organisations to drive more reliable service delivery, greater agility, improved security and lower infrastructure and IT labor costs.

With easier access to BlueCat’s IPAM solutions, organisations residing in Australia and New Zealand will be better equipped to manage the rapid growth of networks and devices, better able to respond to business demands and better prepared to take advantage of emerging technologies including IPv6, machine-to-machine (M2M) and software-defined networking (SDN).

BlueCat’s Melbourne office will be lead by George Tsoukas, Managing Director and Ben Cuthbert, Director of Engineering. BlueCat has several other global offices residing in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
