New release of the Knowledge Platform for IT Improves effectiveness process of applying best practices install, monitor, diagnose and maintain Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.

Launched hundreds of PAN-OS and Panorama knowledge alerts that identify issues across log, configuration and granular device metrics such as certification and license expiration.

New capabilities allow customers, partners and consultants to write their own checks and share their device knowledge with the IT community.

Improved productivity for Palo Alto Networks customers

  • Saved 3,533 man hours. This is equivalent to 1.7 years of work for one administrator working a 40 hour week for 52 weeks
  • Accurately identified 6,688 issues that could of disrupted business continuity
  • Avoided 929 hours of potential downtime

As the technology landscape evolves and enterprises rely on network availability to complete customer transactions, it is imperative for IT to stay one step ahead of device failures. A knowledge-based approach helps customers avoid impending device issues, so that IT has more time to contribute to strategic efforts.
